So today,
I was like, "I'm definitely going to get a gorgeous photo today—!"
and headed to a café with full confidence.

They had this new limited-season strawberry drink,
and I thought, this is PERFECT for SNS content?!

I started shooting the second I sat down.

But.

...Nothing was coming out right.

Too dark.
My face looked round.
The drink was tilting.
There was a customer in the background.

"Wait — how does everyone else DO this?!"

I literally said that out loud.

Oh, and in the middle of all that,
I got a little cream on my sleeve.

Great.

But I didn't give up —
I tried propping up my phone,
changing the angle,
shifting my chair a little.

And then.

I spilled the drink. Just a little.

The staff came over, super worried.

"I-I'm fine...!"

I said it.
But I definitely did not look fine.

Also.

I'd been trying so hard,
I looked up and realized the ice had basically all melted.

Sad.

I still wanted to post something, so
I picked the best photo out of the bunch and uploaded it.

But I wasn't totally satisfied, so afterward
I threw up a Story with the photo from right when I spilled —
just captioned it:

"Can't get a good shot😭"

And then.

That one got way more engagement.

WHAT?!

"I love this side of Aine"
"same honestly"
"wait actually cute though"

All these messages coming in.

Ehhhh???

Sometimes the photo where you totally failed
beats the one you actually worked hard on??

SNS is wild.

After that,
I randomly ran into Ruka nearby and told her the whole story.

And she said,

"Aine, you always look better when you're just being yourself
than when you're actually trying."

...That's kind of annoying to hear.

But.

I kind of get it.

Next time,
I'll try to shoot more naturally 🍓
