I was trying to put music on my Stories and couldn't figure out how.
"Okay, who do I ask" — and the first person I thought of was Rei. She's obviously the type who knows all the technical stuff, right?
So I knocked on her door.
"Hey, quick question — how do you add music to Stories?"
She glanced at my phone.
"...Come in."
What followed was not what I expected.
She showed me the music thing, and then somehow it became "actually your settings are—" and then we were in account settings, and then she was explaining posting tips, and then hashtags, and then the difference between Reels and feed posts, and then how to read Insights—
"Wait, that feature exists?!" I said this approximately ten times.
Rei stayed completely calm through all of it, but at one point she looked at me and went,
"...Hinata. You had no idea about any of the basics, did you."
Ouch. Possibly true. But I know now!!
By the time I left, over an hour had passed.
"Thanks so much!!" I said on my way out.
Rei thought for a second, then:
"...I bet the others get stuck on the same stuff too."
Oh. This is going to spread, isn't it.
