Well — "pick up props" is being generous. It was half just wandering around, honestly. lol
We wanted to look for little accessories and décor pieces that might work on camera, so we hit a bunch of shops near the station. Aine was having the time of her life the whole time.
"Oh!! This is so cute!!"
"Wait — Ruka, this would photograph SO well!!"
"Hey let's go in here!!"
...Basically the whole day.
Also, Aine completely stops watching where she's going the second she starts talking.
She almost tripped like five times today. Five.
I was grabbing her arm every single time. I might be her legal guardian at this point.
But honestly, that's just so Aine. Wouldn't change it.
At one point we found this adorable glass accessories shop and went in. While Aine was gravitating toward every single pink thing in the store, I kept looking at stuff thinking "this would suit Shizuku" or "Hinata would one hundred percent pick this one."
I guess I automatically filter everything through the members now.
Occupational hazard, maybe. lol
On the way back we stopped at a café to take a break. Aine spent a solid amount of time photographing her pancakes.
Then she knocked the syrup over.
...Yeah. Saw that coming.
But she just calmly cleaned it up and went, "this is actually one of the minor ones!!"
The positivity is unreal.
Today just gave me this feeling like — yeah, MixPalette really is these five people.
We're all so different, but somehow when we're together it just... balances. It's kind of strange, actually.
Anyway. My personal goal is to bring Aine's tripping rate down at least a little. 📸
