Distance Call

Signboards streaming past the window, the familiar scenery drifting away. Only the words I swallowed back, the ones I never finished saying, remain. On the other side of the crowd, each of us moves through our own time. I just quietly watched the changing skyline go by.

I wonder since when this distance has grown, little by little. If I called your name, could we laugh like it was only yesterday?

Distance Call The sky I look up at from far away doesn't have to be the same shape. Just the memory of the voice we shared still echoes in my heart. Distance Call Even in a season that rushed by too fast, even if I nearly lost sight of it, if this feeling still hasn't faded, then that's enough, just as it is.

Slipping through the ticket gate crowd, I paused there, just for a moment. Even if the paths we chose were different, I felt like neither one was wrong.

Even if it's the long way round, if there's a place we'll still arrive at, then there's no need to rush — I'm sure it'll be alright.
